How to keep your carpets cleaner longer?
We have a lot of customers who ask us how to keep their newly cleaned carpets looking cleaner longer. We also get a lot of general questions about how to spot clean at a workspace. Here are some of those questions:
We recommend that you get your carpets cleaned at least once a year. If you have a busy household, you may want to consider getting your carpets every three to six months.
How long should it take for carpets to dry after they have been cleaned?
We use a truck mounted system so your carpets should dry within 2 to 3 hours. The carpet drying time is highly affected by how much air movement there is in your office, so make sure to place your a/c, heating systems, or ceiling fans on.
Can bleach spots come out?
Unfortunately, bleach spots cannot be removed from carpets. However, they can be patched with remnant carpet in your office.
Can store bought stain removers like Resolve or others damage your carpet?
Certain stain removers like Resolve could potentially bleach your carpet. Not only do they risk the possibility of placing a bleach stain on your carpet, but they also leave a residue in the carpet that can be difficult to remove.
What difference does it make if I use entrance mats?
If you use entrance mats both inside and outside your workspace, it will reduce the amount of dirt brought onto your carpet.
How important is vacuuming?
In order to maintain and keep your carpets looking great, we recommend that you vacuum twice a week. Dry soil can potentially damage carpet fibers by causing your carpet to wear out faster.
